NIKENIKENIKENIKENIKENIKE….

Yesterday the NIKE BLAST website came alive, and the registration opened.
It opened up around 4.30 pm – and last night (ie. in a few hours only) it was more than 900 people that have signed up.

Crazy?!
Totally! But crazy-good of course! And totally expected.
Cause this is the BEST event in the world.
It’s the BLAST of the blasts – and the EVENT with capital E!

I’ll be presenting – my tribal house in a new fresh and updated version, with a brand new name: AfHo (as in afro & house)
Last year I got to open up the entire BLAST on the big main stage – and this year I’m shutting it down by tearing the dance studio-stage down.
It’s gonna be awesome, LOUD and just BOMBLASTIC!! Come join me sunday afternoon!

I’m also teaming up with Åsa and Kristin – for a smoking hot Femme Fatale, at the big stage! Also sunday!
Don’t know what to say… more than that we’ll be dancing till the world endsDon’t hold it against us! It’s gonna be criminal fun – up n’down crazy sexy fun – and some BIG PHAT BASS!
You’ll be (DROP DEAD) beautiful on the dance floor. Cause this is your time to shine!
Your time to be selfish!

I think you get it…
And yes, we might play some Britney – LOL!

See you in the GLOBE!!!!

More QW’s…recap

Besides today’s qw’s – I’ve done a few more.
The first was in Finspång two weeks ago. It was a in-house quarterly for Medley. I did BODYBALANCE™ as a quarterly, and then BODYJAM® as a promotion class – since they don’t have that program just yet. My guess is  though, that they will have it pretty soon. Cause they sure seemed to like it. Maybe at a Medley near you.

Last weekend it was the capital-jammers turn (capital and surroundings I better say) to be updated!
Sunday afternoon in late november = dark grey and foggy outside!
The 1st of advent = people wants to be home and eat ginger bread and drink their glögg.
Despite that – I had a group of 27 awesome BODYJAMMERS that danced their booteys off.
Olle was there…

and he was probably the freshest jam-instructors of them all.
Fresh as in most recently educated. Hehe!
Not as in the rest of the crowd seemed to be fading.
Quite the opposite! It was so much fun to see old faces – and new faces – and that they all went all in! GOOD JOB! And thank you all!

BODYBALANCE™ in Stockholm this weekend, and then both programs in Gothenburg the next. I’m hoping for lots and lots of just as happy, lovely and relaxed people as it’s been this far, the upcoming weekends. 🙂

Estonia rocked!

When I woke up at 5.30 am this morning (about the same time for the third day in a row) one of my first awake-but-really-tired thoughts were that – in about 14 hours I will be back here, in bed and then I can continue sleeping. Ha!

And since I left my house around 6.30 – I’ve been to Tallin and back – and taught two quarterly workshops.
BODYJAM® and BODYBALANCE™.
And my tiredness and the longing to sleep was gone by the time I went of the plane in Tallin.

In the jam class it was a few familiar faces from the initial training that I held there exactly two years ago. I haven’t done any more trainings since then – but I’ve been there for quarterlies several times and it’s always fun to see both old and new jammers – and their progress. And just fun to se them, simply.

The BODYBALANCE™ class was huge – it’s the second biggest program in Estonia. And they were good!
So, I’ve had a great day!

Time to reload for the quarterly in Stockholm this weekend.
And, I’m happy to be back at Kings Island 🙂

Choreo-werk!

So – I’ve been teaching the whole release of BODYBALANCE™ 55 four times this week.

Monday lunch was the first class, and probably – or should I say definitly – not my best class. Small mistakes in the choreo here and there – but it’s these mistakes that makes me learn, and not to repeat them.
And the crowd for that class is the best and most grateful practice-crowd ever…
They’re like: ooh, did we add something new today?
Yes! The entire class! And new music! Haha!

And thanks to that class my second and third class went much better – despite a sprained and swollen thumb – and some difficulties to put weight on my left hand.
And my fourth class this morning felt great! It was fun!!! 55 rocks – of course in a very sofisticated way.

And – right now I’m all into hard-core-jam-choreo-practice!

And wednesday = Street at Fridhemsplan 5.30 pm – we’ll do a revival of I’m dat chick. Still love that song. Hope to see you there.

Zunday!

…and my focus for the day have been on BODYBALANCE™ 55.

Seven tracks out of 11 starting to feel pretty good now, and the remaining four tracks I’ll leave for tomorrow morning.
Then I have my classes this week to polish the coaching and feel even more before next weekend.
And what’s up next weekend?!
I’m presenting the new releases in BODYBALANCE™ and BODYJAM® at an internally Les Mills day at Medley, in Finspång. (a swedish town about 2,5 hours from Stockholm by car)

So – I guess I’ll be doing some serious BODYJAM®-studying this week as well.
It’s a good thing this kind of studies doesn’t require so much sedentary. Which have never been my strong suit really… LOL!

If you’re curious about the track lists for (all) the new releases you can surf in here for a sneak peek!

Coming up for the evening – off to the other side of the city to the Maxim Theatre and the dance production; No Limits.
Check out the promo here if you want…

Sweet Saturday!

It was a good day, fo shizzle.
The event was fully booked and we had a crowd of awesome dancers that definitly brought their A-game, great energy and positive spirit all day.

Un-pretentious, fun and happy!
Thank you all for coming and shaking your gorgeous ass with us 🙂

Unfortunately I didn’t take that many pics – but here’s one from my class…

If you want to stay tuned for more upcoming events – find the Beatz Group Training Event page on Facebook – and like it!!

Can u feel the beatz?!

Yes, Saturday morning in Stockholm. Gotta love those!

Time to charge up for the Beatz event.
I’ll teach a commercial jazz…and this is the song!

Not the smartest lyrics ever I know – but like me and Morgan noted the other day, kind of catchy… and happy!
And – pretty commercial!

Last class of the day will be a stretch-class which I (my body) kind of look forward to for my own sake as well…

Happy SATURDAY!!!

To quote or not to quote…?!

Wow.. Fall 2011 is not my fall – when it comes to blogging at least. I’ve been struggling with the time – to make it last for everything I need to to, along with all the things I want to do.

But since almost everyone I know have a shit loads of stuff to do these days and are working like crazy, it seems kind of a un-necessary thing to bring up or even less blame on.

Just look at people’s facebook status; it’s about long to do lists and a full packed calender all over the place – along with quotes about how important it is to live your life, love your life,  seize the day, catch the moment, speak up, stand up, love your job, don’t waste your time and so on.

Honestly – I don’t belive that anyone wants to waste their life – or not work with something they love, or live their life to the fullest. Do you?
So why this enormous amount of quotes?

Is it to remind oneself to breath once in a while and just live? In that case, it’s a good thing.
Or – is it because you belive that you set the perfect example and with this quote want to inspire other people to do the same.. well, I buy that too.

Or is just a lot of pretentious bs – and you live your life by posting quotes about how you wish to live your life, and how you wish for people to apprehend you.
I buy that too. Make sense 2011.

Or – is it just for fun to light up the day if you spend a lot of time in front of the computer? Totally get that too.

I guess we all have different agendas.. and we all want to be happy the short time we have in this life that we are blessed to be in at the moment.
I too wanna seize the day – totally.. and I wanna live to the fullest and love my life. And I want be happy!
All day everyday! And I do – am…
Maybe not all day everyday, but everyday. (look at that – a quote from Charlotte Goldenblatt)

Have a nice weekend you beautiful people!
If you’re up for some serious ass-shaking, join me and Robert fore some dance beatz tomorrow.
Email Robert at beatz@robertsorensen.com to see if there are some last minute spots to spare.
Hope to see you on the dance floor!

Monday morning…

Let’s see what the outer universe’s planning for the day. 🙂

I said that I didn’t wanted to start with the new Les Mills choreos before I’m done with the old ones. Like if I still have an event or initial training where I’m supposed to do the old choreo (like this upcoming weekend) I don’t like to start learning the new ones before I can leave the old…to avoid confusion…
But I’m so fed up with the core/back tracks, and my body is definitly ready for a new pathern of movements.
So I’ve learned track 6 & 7 for my lunch-BODYBALANCE™ at Tule today.
Just to get a tiny variety in class.

I’m presenting the new programs at an event for the first time at nov. 19th – so I guess it’s time to learn it all soon, but that I’ll do after this weekend.

Spookylicious!!

The working plans for the weekend changed a bit – and I’ve been in Stockholm all weekend, which actually have been very nice. And well needed.
Recovering, re-charging in combination with some quality time with lovely friends is worth a lot in its right moment.

Now a new week and a new month is coming up!
Next week is filled with 13 classes and an initial training module in BODYBALANCE™. For instance.
And the new month (a long with the rest of the year) is filled up with work every weekend all the way until x-mas, which feels kind of reassuring – and fun of course!

Several job is located in Stockholm. So it’s not the craziest of travelling, like it can be. Suits me very well right now.

And of course… soon starts the rehearsing of the new releases. But let’s deal with that after the initial next weekend.

Happy 44th week to y’all. 🙂 And – HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
