Dance & Training trip to NYC!

August is here, two more months until our Dance & Training Trip to NYC is about to happen.
If your vacay is over and you need something to look forward to this might be it.
It’s gonna be a week of dancing, training, inspiration, energy-boosting and of course good times.

There are still some spots left – but they are not unlimited and we will close the registration. Not quite yet though.

Besides daily classes with me and Jonas – everyone that joins us will get a temporary membership at Crunch gym that’s valid from oct 7th – oct 14th and it will give you unlimited access to all their clubs.
Crunch have 10 locations in Manhattan. Check out their website to see exactly where they are.
You can not book classes at Crunch (not even their ‘all year-members’ can do that) so it’s all drop in.
Heads up – if you’re checking the schedule now already, remember that it’s still summer schedule with reduced amount of classes.

If you’re in to dance classes you have some really fierce classes to look forward to.
With awesome dancers/teachers.
Many of them teach both at Broadway Dance Centre, Peridance and Steps etc. as well.
I was thinking that it would be a fun idea to give you a closer presentation of some of all these awesome instructors – and tomorrow the first one will appear here on my blog.

Here’s a preliminary schedule of our (me & Jonas) classes;
Tuesday:
Åsa: AfHo®
Jonas Burlesque
Wednesday:
Åsa: Street
Jonas: Broadway Basics
Thursday:
Åsa: Jazz
Jonas: Urban Funk
Friday:
Åsa & Jonas NTC (Nike Training Club) in Central Park
Åsa & Jonas Yoga/Flexibility
Saturday:
Åsa: Girly Groove
Jonas: Urban Funk
Sunday:
Åsa: Street Jazz
Jonas: Broadway Basics pt II
Monday:
Åsa: BODYBALANCE®
Jonas: DanceJam

Our classes will be in a separate studio – we can not give you any exact location for that just yet. It’s a bit to soon to reserve, and it’s also depending on how many that will join us. But most likely somewhere in Midtown which is easy and quick to go to no matter where in Manhattan you’re staying.

Then – we will pic a class everyday for all of us to attend together.
Like a common activity, for those who’s up for that.

You’ll get an exact schedule a couple of weeks before departure.

We are so looking forward to this trip.
If you want to sign up – or just ask a question or two, don’t hesitate to email me:

Here’s me – participating in the anti gravity yoga class that’s been a real success-class at Crunch the past years.

❤ Malmö!

Friday morning in Malmö.

Taught two classes wednesday; AfHo® and BODYBALANCE®.
As I’m doing an instructors training in AfHo® in late august I had an awesome crew of instructors that tried it out, and I can’t wait to spend an entire weekend with them.

Today I’m teaching a guest-jazz-class. 17.30 Gasworks Studio. If you’re near by – come and dance with me.

Not all work though…
Yesterday I joined Jonas for his sing-a-long show that he’s hosting in “Folkets Park”

Siri and Mr B rode with style to the park. Chillin in the limo.

SATS-jammers…

The first BODYJAM® initial training for SATS went just fine.

Friday, 16 jammers rocked the room.
Saturday they became 15, still rocking though.
Sunday there were 14 new jammers that left the building.
Like rockstars!

It’s always a bit special to have an in-house training instead of an open, and especially when it’s your co-workers, but they were all amazing and kept up a great energy the entire weekend.

Yay

Yo

…fancy arms!

Thank you awesome SATS-friends, and Andrea (from N.W. Jönköping) for a fantastic weekend.
Welcome to the jamily.

Next weekend it’s SATS Oslo’s turn.

Real love – that will last 4ever.

In one week and a day I’ll be on my favorite flight to NYC.. and I can not wait. Someone said today, NYC is like your second home. YES – it is. It could be my first home even. I really believe me and Siri would find our inner peace there.

So, when the time is right – I’m sure me and my little city-frenchie will end up in the village. (on that street that I call “our street”)
I just know it.

Hanna’s reporting…

I held an initial training in BODYBALANCE® a while ago – about a month ago to be specific. Hanna that took the training won her spot in a competition at Fitness Lifestyle’s website.

Here’s her report from the training.
Thank you beautiful Hanna for all the awesome stuff you said about me (got all emotional when I read it)
It was a true pleasure to have you in the training.

Moving forward…

One day left of April.
Then we’re moving in to one of my favorite months: MAY! YAAY!

It’s gonna be an awesome month, filled with a lot of amazing stuff.
For example;

  • Three BODYJAM® initial trainings at SATS Sthlm, Gbg and Oslo
  • Four master classes at Workout Åre (do not miss these classes if you’re there)
  • A choreo-job in Göteborg
  • A trip to NYC (worth an extra yaay)

Then all my classes and other every-day work, of course.
And – perhaps the most important, may = officially summer! (at least in my world)

In a spot where I feel like home…

And so is Siri… hehe!

Felt the BEATZ…

BEATZ, the 8th edition, was off  the hook.
Four totally different classes, with four very different presenters.

Thank you wonderful wonderful BEATZ-dancers for sharing your energy and awesomeness with us.

Thank you Rob for beeing the best biz partner (and great friend) ever. And a rockstar presenter, not to mention.

Next BEATZ – preliminary date is june 8th.

Race against the clock…

This week have been kind of crazy… (as well.)
In 24 h I managed to teach
BODYBALANCE (61) at SATS Fridhemsplan
HotMOJO at Spårvagnshallarna
BODYJAM® at SATS Storo Oslo, Norway
HotMOJO – again at Spåris…

I do love my job – and especially the variety. Grateful – indeed.
I honestly don’t know what I would do if I had a “real” job, at an office for example from 9-5.
Probably fall asleep – all.the.time..
Like I did today at the hairdresser.. as soon as I have a moment where I’m forced to sit still.. Zzzzz!

Anyhow, I did this BODYJAM® try-out-class in Norway this wednesday, so the instructors could come and try the class and see if they would like to attend the training and start teaching the program.

Here are a few of the awesome instructors that took the class;

Thanks Oslo (or Aslow – according to the flight attendant at SAS) for having me, see you in two weeks for the initial training module.

Sunday Sum Up!

I know I already linked to some of the blog reports from monday’s AfHo®-promo event, but here’s a summarize of all the posts (that I know of) if you’d like to read what the bloggers that were there thought about the class…

Like I also mentioned, Aftonbladet Wellness were there – and they will do an article about it. Stay tuned for that.

So, some of the stuff I’ve managed to squeeze in this past week are:

A dance workshop
A promo event
An AfHo®instructors training
18 classes

I’m happy and tired (only positive tiredness though) and I’ll take this sunday eve to chill and charge up for the upcoming week that – among other things – includes a guest class in Oslo and a BEATZ event.

xoxo
