On a RB-break!

Do you wanna know a secret?!
Well – it’s not a secret really, more like a statement.

I haven’t had a RedBull in 34 days. For me – that is very unusual.
I LOVE REDBULL!
And have done that, for a long time.

I drink at least one a day – maybe two some days.
I’ve even managed to get sponsored by RedBull, with cans.
Honestly – I can say that RedBull is my favourite drink in the whole world.

Despite that I decided to take a RB-free period, like a “white” period.

My goal is to not have any RedBull until the Nike Blast. Imagen how I will fly then.

Do you have any addictions and cravings?! Anything you care to share?

Catch Up!

The holidays are officially over and yesterday I went back in biz.

The day started with Femme Fatale rehearsal, part II.
Me and the fabolus Ms Åsa Eriksson came a bit further in our FF-werk.

Don’t miss this class at THE NIKE BLAST.

Then the first jazz lesson of the semester at HoS.
I did the lyrical routine that I did a Beatz last week. And I loved how pretty the crowd made it.
So – how was London?!
Good indeed!
Brilliant! Marvelous! Lovely!

Fun classes at Pineapple

A very entertaining (and inspiring) 😉 evening at the best burlesque club in London. (so were we told at least)

Cozy hangouts in SoHo and Covent Garden

Dinner and drinks with the awesome NZ Les Mills trainer Will – that’s living in London.

The pic is an old one from Nike Helsinki-10, since I forgot to take new one.

In London, they don’t go for just PT’s in the gym…

Oh yeah!

Overall, a perfect vaca.

But I repeat the saying of the Fornander Andersson family,
Say what you like about London – but it’s nothing like New York.
But then – nothing is. 🙂

Now, let’s get the dance & training spring of 2012 getting started.

BTW…

Warning – not at all related to training… 🙂

I just wanted to take the opportunity to share a blog post that I read the other day.
You might have read this blog post already.. but if not, you can now if you want.

I thinks it’s a good post, and a good reaction against this people-hating woman that have
so much bitterness inside herself – and obviously a complete lack of respect for other human beings – that she wants to destroy another persons life without a doubt, and also thinks she can because she got more money and are more “famous”
Disgusting!!

Once again – I’m happy and grateful that I have so many loving, caring people around me… !

To quote or not to quote…?!

Wow.. Fall 2011 is not my fall – when it comes to blogging at least. I’ve been struggling with the time – to make it last for everything I need to to, along with all the things I want to do.

But since almost everyone I know have a shit loads of stuff to do these days and are working like crazy, it seems kind of a un-necessary thing to bring up or even less blame on.

Just look at people’s facebook status; it’s about long to do lists and a full packed calender all over the place – along with quotes about how important it is to live your life, love your life,  seize the day, catch the moment, speak up, stand up, love your job, don’t waste your time and so on.

Honestly – I don’t belive that anyone wants to waste their life – or not work with something they love, or live their life to the fullest. Do you?
So why this enormous amount of quotes?

Is it to remind oneself to breath once in a while and just live? In that case, it’s a good thing.
Or – is it because you belive that you set the perfect example and with this quote want to inspire other people to do the same.. well, I buy that too.

Or is just a lot of pretentious bs – and you live your life by posting quotes about how you wish to live your life, and how you wish for people to apprehend you.
I buy that too. Make sense 2011.

Or – is it just for fun to light up the day if you spend a lot of time in front of the computer? Totally get that too.

I guess we all have different agendas.. and we all want to be happy the short time we have in this life that we are blessed to be in at the moment.
I too wanna seize the day – totally.. and I wanna live to the fullest and love my life. And I want be happy!
All day everyday! And I do – am…
Maybe not all day everyday, but everyday. (look at that – a quote from Charlotte Goldenblatt)

Have a nice weekend you beautiful people!
If you’re up for some serious ass-shaking, join me and Robert fore some dance beatz tomorrow.
Email Robert at beatz@robertsorensen.com to see if there are some last minute spots to spare.
Hope to see you on the dance floor!

When I grow up…

…I wanna be famous I wanna be a star, I wanna be in movies
When I grow up, I wanna see the world, Drive nice cars, I wanna have boobies
When I grow up, be on TV, People know me, be on magazines
When I grow up, fresh and clean, Number one chick when I step out on the scene

Yes, sure!
Can’t say it any better than PCD, but more than that I really really would like a washing machine. That would be amazing!
Like yesterday – me and my significant other taught four classes each.
That’s eight sets of training outfits.
And only mon-wed this week I’ve been teaching 10 classes myself. A whole lot of clothes… And a weekend of either a training, convention or workshop also demands several outfits.

Also, if you know me – you know I like to wear different colours… and since I like to keep the colours in its right shade – I like to wash red, pink and orange separate.
Blue and green separate. Grey and black. White. Yellow. Purple. And so on… So I can go on and on for a day… or forever!

But you know – if that’s my problem for the day – I’m HAPPY to deal with it.
But – when I grow up, I wanna have a washing machine of my own!!

Boring…

After a september month with 52 regular classes – and in addition to that –  a couple of guest classes, a master class at Super Saturday, a BODYJAM® initial training module and lots and lots of choreographing and rehearsal I got sick.. despite my serious efforts trying to fight it..

And the sicko-state of mind brings me into this never ending, everlasting issue, that I’ve also been bloging about before…

The fact that my three days in bed have been much more stressful than it is when I’m working.
Cause I’ve been – literally – chasing subs to cover my classes.
THANK YOU lovely rockstars that have helped me out.
Yesterday was redicolous! I just couldn’t find anyone that was available to sub.

And it sure didn’t help when the gym refuses to answer their phones.
What’s up with that? 2011… soon to be 2012! Get a handsfree if you leave the front desk god damn it!

In those situations I feel like just don’t wanna give a crap, and simply don’t show up. But just let them deal with it.
But I’d never have the consciense to do that – and most people are the same.

So yesterday, I taught three classes with the cough from hell (you know, that makes you sound like a skanky big time smoker) and then luckily I have a very nice husband that actually went o u t s i d e the city toll to sub a class, so that instructor (which is just awesome and super sweet) could go and cover the fourth class I was supposed to teach yesterday. At the gym that no longer uses their phones…

Insane!

Anyhow.. this is the same at ALL THE GYMS I’ve been working at – ever, so no need to comment anything else. Just sayin’ 😮

Wednesday peeps – I do have a sub for tonight’s street; Malin is covering for me at Fridhemsplan!
And I HOPE to be back on track tomorrow for the jazz!

So – if you have read this far… Well done!
And, I wish you a sparkling germ free beautiful day!

On hour of free time…

…leads to thoughts like this!

You know… weeks like this, when something as horrible as the tragical plane accident happens – and 9/11 is becoming fresh in our memories again with it’s 10-year memorial day (to mention a few of all the things that’s going on in our world) I feel more than ever that I don’t want to spend my time or energy on a lot of unimportant, unnecessary BS-things.

Lovely Camilla wrote this post earlier this week – I know we know all this, but it went straight to my heart.

I don’t need that overwhelming to happen in my life though before I realise what’t important, so I try to really do the most out of it. Always!
And I’ve become so much better at it as well. It might be an age thing but I don’t think so – more like a maturity/self-esteem thing. It really doesn’t matter – I’m just happy to go from strength to strength.

And, instead of doing things so I can take a photo to post on my blog or on facebook I wanna do the things cause I’m enjoying them at the very moment of it.
And therefore I’m not as good as many of my friends to share my experiences in pics, sorry about that! (and sometimes I just don’t wanna do it.)

At our wedding – we didn’t allowed speeches – for a bit of the same reason.
If I have friends and family that loves me and are proud of me – that’s something I’d rather hear in my everyday life, over and over – than in a formally speech in one particular day when they’re kind of expected to say it. Right?!

You don’t have to agree (as always) – this is just my opinion.

And I do love all my friends, my family and the beautiful people around me that helps make my life pink and shiny – and just awesome!
Thank you for beeing a part of my life, and for letting me be a part of yours.
I know it can be over in a blink of an eye – but until then:
I wish for all of us to really live, experience, and feel alive –  fully out.
I.R.L – of course ; )

So with this in my mind I’m gonna dive into two of the things I’ve been waiting for long enough now – and make a serious effort for them to really happen.. before it’s to late.

And along with that, I’m gonna prepare for tonight’s class – and for tomorrow’s guest class at Njoy, Örebro!

Happy weekend y’all beautiful people!
XOXO
(Don’t you just long for the season premiere of GG?! I know I do…)

Summerlove!!

This summer has been (and is) fantastic!

A bright beginning in Stockholm – some oriental-european luxery in Istanbul – a magic month in NYC – a fun last week of freedom and Pride – followed by a happy come back with my classes.

Like I’ve wrote before.. I am lucky!
Lucky and happy!
And grateful!
And the summer is not over yet – not a chance.
It’s kind of depressing when people start acting as it’s all over now…or longing for the fall (??!) but I choose to believe it will be summer for a lot longer!

Many thanks to this talented designer that helped me make the opening event of the summer purple and precious.  I love my dress!

♥ the little blue ones!

If you know me – you know I like the smurfs… and they’re doing pretty well at the moment, so happy for them. Lol!
Smurfette is even being hired to model in magazines… check out Harpers Bazaar where she’s showing the latest accessories.

We even went to see the smurfs in 3D, but we should have brought a kid as well, ha!
When the kid in front of us shouts out in the end; this was smurftastic… well, they were cute though (the smurfs I mean) as always!

If you’re up for a more grown up movie I saw Horrible Bosses a couple of weeks ago – and it was hilarious.
Weel, this was it from the movie tips corner.. for now, over and out!
