WIN my CD!

So, yesterday I got this email from Swedebeat… which means that the physical CD is available in stock – ready to be ordered.

I’m really happy with (and proud of) the result – and I’m gonna play it real loud in my class tonight.

You can buy it as an actual CD – or you can simply download it.

OR – you can win one, right here – right now. I’m raffling of a cd here at the blog.
All you need to do to join, is to:
like my public page on facebook (if you’re not doing that already)
then, make a comment below – where you tell me your phattest hiphop-moment/memory of 2012.

Peace out!

Radiation or to radiate.. almost the same thing!

Busy times…

This weekend – the Les Mills QW’s took off.
The schedule have been pushed around for a bit and I ended up teaching my first one yesterday in Stockholm. Love it when it’s on the home ground. Then 10.15 is not that hard – when the gym is about 17 min walk from home.
BODYBALANCE® 59 is awesome and – like I’ve said before – much more instant love than the previous one.
The educational session this time is pretty quick and smooth to run through. It’s an extension of the one that came with the qw 2/12.
Of course I could do a 45 min of BS-ing, just cause.
But I think the crowd’s to good and clever for that. So we ran it through in 30 min. And then the master class.

In the standing strenght track there’s an arm combo called tribal arms – and I’ve been teaching this class for two weeks now, several times a week.
But yet – I forgot the arms on the first side. Classic! What to do?! 🙂
Besides that – the class felt great, and the crowd was awesome! A lot of co-workers, former co-workers, instructors that’s been to initial training with me.. friends, and familiar faces. Great energy and good vibes!

Then I headed to the next event, the charity event that Bloggar om träning hosted to collect money for the Ung Cancer-organisation.
I taught BOYDBALANCE®59 there as well, and I had about 40 ppl joining me. Which is about 2000 sek. Every little helps make a difference…

This week, I’ll put most of my focus on the upcoming qw’s for next weekend, BODYJAM® in both Göteborg and Stockholm.
I would like to invest some of my time in choreographing – new stuff for my classes – but I feel like I’ve been under this time pressure for quite a few weeks now.
Like my friend said on my voicemail this morning; it feels like I am working all.the.time.
Indeed! The past weeks it feels like I’ve been working all the time my entire waking hours.

Tuesday – I felt this annoying pressure over my heart and radiations to the arms… Kind of a stress-symptom I believe…
I’m lucky to have a job though. I classify this as a luxery problem.
Rather radiations of to much work than anxiety from to little…

Enjoy your monday night people – I know I will – with the lovable monday night crew at the bridge!

My new album… (how cool is that?!)

Once again I’ve had the honor to collaborate with Swedebeat – and compiled a cd of my very own.
Hiphop 02!
It is awesome and I can’t wait to use it in class.
The mix is done – and the actual cd is on its way.
You can order it online, at the Swedebeat-site very soon.
Probably sometime during next week.

It is two different mixes on the same cd; one slow hiphop, and one uptempo hiphop.
In the end it’s a ‘final mix’ that you can use for both a slower tempo – or in the double pace (it’s really cool) and then it finishes off with a cooldown.
So – if you’re longing for some new hot music for your classes – go for it!

Two [very different] Events…

One of the things (among many other) I truly appreciate with my job is the variety. Of work, environment, people, energy and obviously – the actual task.

The two upcoming weekends I’ve got two different events booked.
First up is the Spa and the city-event at Selma Spa this weekend.  It’s starting off this afternoon already – but I’m heading there tonight after my class at House of Shapes.

I’ll be teaching three classes at the event, BODYBALANCE®59 tomorrow morning, AfHo® tomorrow afternoon and then a very special Spa and the City class sunday noon.
How about that?
The vibe for the weekend is suppose to be kind of luxury-glamour-big-city-energy meets the calm and stillness of the countryside.
I’ll be representing the big city vibe, foremost.
And beside all the fabulous classes and the spa & relax there will be opportunities to take private coaching sessions, private singing lessons… and of course: cocktails.
Tonight it’s a classic cocktail party and tomorrow there will be a white party.

(And if I’m allowed to be a bit negative just for a sec, not only seem white partys very 2000 – but what’s the deal with throwing one in NOVEMBER… Is it the clothes or the skin tone that counts? And, since I’m not an actual guest – I will refuse to wear white, ha!)

Anywho – I think it’s gonna be an awesome weekend.

NEXT sunday – I’ll take part in a completely different event, organized by Bloggar om träning – and the energetic Åsa governing the entire thing.
It’s a charity event where all the money goes to benefit the Ung Cancer.
It’s a whole bunch of classes – and each class costs 50 sek (or more)

I’ll swoop in directly from the BODYBALANCE® QW, to present – yes, that’s right – yet another BODYBALANCE®.
Of course I’ll do the new release, 59!
Which by the way, is a LOVELY release.
For me – much more instant love than the previous release.

I think you should join me.
Come and workout with other people that share your passion – celebrate life – and take the opportunity to spend your money, energy and time on a great cause. Make that day count. Make that workout count.
My class starts 14.00.

BODYBALANCE® in the building…

This past weekend contained yet another initial training module – but this time it was time to train an entire crew with upcoming BODYBALANCE®instructors.

Friday morning they were 16.
Straight after the master class (that’s pretty much the first thing that happens) one of the gals felt that BODYBALANCE® wasn’t her thing.
It was her very first time ever trying the class. She did have trained a lot of BODYPUMP® and BODYCOMBAT® though – which she loved – but fore some reason her gym told her to start with the BODYBALANCE®-training casue that is so much easier.

1. It’s not – it’s probably harder.
2. For me – attend an instructors training and never even tried that particular class or exercise – really strange.
3. If a person loves BODYPUMP® and BODYCOMBAT® and have done it a lot – why not go for that?

Which was exactly what I told her: go for the things you like.
That’s when you become good at it.

Then saturday morning – next chica came.
During the first day –  she felt that she wanted to keep BODYBALANCE® as her own training. But not teach in it. So she checked out.

So, in the end of the weekend it was 14 strong and long warriors left.
Just like I posted on my facebook sunday night; I’m equally amazed each time after a training – of how much you can develop and progress in three days with the right mindset and attitude. Thank you for your effort and hard work.

In this pic they’re only 14 – cause two ladies were in a bit of hurry to catch a flight.

J.Lo ROCKED!!!

Yesterday I went to see Jennifer Lopez in Globen.

This is her first world tour – and you could really tell.. by the firework, the smoke, the laser, the confetti, the glitter and the energy! BOOM!

She performed some of her old tunes – and visually I liked the ‘Back to the Bronx’-block the most. So hot! And cool!

Like I posted on my facebook page after the concert; it was a real shut-the-fuck-up-show, definitely nothing less than expected from J.Lo
More like a lot more.
She sounded awesome live! She’s so beautiful that it’s almost ridiculous! She can dance! And then add a kick ass show with 8 FIERCE dancers, and all the stuff that I wrote above. SUCCESS!!

She didn’t touched my soul in the same magic way that Lady Gaga did – but it was a great and sexy injection of energy, inspiration and FUN!

I’m sure pretentious music reviewers have another opinion – but I LOVED it!
(I take pride in not beeing as pretentious as most reviewers are, ha! )

Sunday-Sum-Up!

Back in Stockholm after three pretty intense days in Copenhagen and the BODYJAM® initial training module.

It’s almost like I’m wondering if it really happened.
You know, from friday morning when the alarm went off at 4 am, until now – the time have literally swooshed by – in a ridiculously high speed.
I’ve managed to be 100% present all weekend though. And, enjoyed every minute of it.
My guess is that it makes the time go even faster.
Being present, and enjoying my minutes (hours, days, nights, weeks, months and so on..)  is something I’m actively working on – and have become so much better at, which I’m grateful for.

Every day we all get completely bombarded by lots and lots of words of wisdom, quotes and incitements that tells us to live our lives, seize the day, catch the moment and so on.
(I’ve been bloging about this urging-phenomenon before – and you might know what I think about this total flood of wisdom)
Cause honestly – how many practice it for real.. I mean, for real.

Do you really live your life like there is no tomorrow..?
Do you really LOVE like you never loved before?! Or – like you’ve never been hurt before (talk about quoting, Robyn FTW)

Unfortunately – unless something really overwhelming or traumatic have happened in our lives and forced us to pick up that wake up call – a lot of people don’t.

Out of fear, prestige, pride.. or even laziness. At least that’s what I think. I might be wrong… (it’s a good thing if I’m wrong)

So – during my coaching & therapy sessions that I started with almost 4 years ago I’ve been working with this, among other things.
To be awake, aware and to try to live – and experience – my life the way I want to. To be able to just stop once in a while… and simply enjoy all the cool stuff I get to do, and have worked really hard to be able to do, as well as all the amazing people I get to meet.
And also – like I started this [unnecessary] long amplification – to be present!

The satisfaction when I do succeed – priceless. And this weekend definitely classifies as a success in that area! Yay!

Anywho – here’s the mandatory group pic of the awesome crowd = 14 dancing danes that’s been jamming all weekend long.

Facebook-time…

No, but prep-time before one of the presentations… with one last check of the dvd.

Here, I accidentally took a photo instead of filming while Gitte taught her track…That happens at least about one time per training. (I did film her too, I might add)

Thank you Copenhagen for having me – and awesome job danish jammers of november 2012!!

Moves & Motivation!

I got this pic yesterday – which is from the local news paper in Växjö. (How about that? 🙂 )

It will be in stores (in Växjö) all november – promoting the new club Moves & Motivation – who seems to be a real one of a kind facility. Can’t wait to see it IRL.
I’ll be teaching a BODYBALANCE® quarterly there sunday december 9th – and while I’m there, I’ll be teaching the new BODYJAM® as a master class as well, thereof the pic in the  paper.

So, if you’re around december 9th – I – just like always – hope to see you there.

Smoking is pro-hi-bi-ted?!

I’m in Copenhagen, Denmark, this weekend for an initial training module in BODYJAM®. I’ve got 14 smokin’ hot ladies that are going to jam themselves to happiness, or at least jam their asses off for three days and become BODYJAM®instructors.

It’s about three weeks left before it’s time to start with the last quarterly round of 2012. (which means new choreography)
Personally – I think that when you do an initial this close to a qw, you should be allowed do the new (and upcoming) release.
For several reasons…

1. It takes a while to learn a BODYJAM®-release, especially the first one as a new instructor, and it feels a bit mean to the all the struggling newbies, to let them work really hard to learn one program and then they can teach it for about a week or so, before it’s time to switch.
Or, they need to stick with an old release while their co-workers are moving on a new one.

2. I don’t wanna mix two releases (I kind of have plenty of choreos in my head anyway)   so I always wait until I’m completely done with one release before I learn the new one.
And like I said – it’s three weeks left before the first round of qw’s… just sayin’.

But – the office have it’s rules  (if you know me, you know I’ve never been much of a rule-obeyer – if that’s even a word) and I guess I need to kindly stick with that.
It’s not really a real problem. Just a teny tiny something to wish for.

The real problem is that you can’t smoke at the gym – not even in the bathrooms, cause if you do – you can get KICKED OUT.. Can you imagen that?!

Of course I’m not serious… I most definitely don’t smoke.
But this sign in the locker room is hilarious.

Have a nice weekend y’all!
